Nomination Deadline - Wednesday March 10, 2010

You are invited to nominate someone who is a "Champion of Children!"  We invite you to help us celebrate those who make a positive difference in the lives of our children.

Think of a Champion of Children as someone from the community who has made a difference in your learning and/or well-being or that of a child. These individuals can be but are not limited to the following examples:

  • Preschool Teachers
  • Community Educators
  • Professors & Instructors
  • Teachers & Counsellors
  • Elders
  • Administrators
  • Business Mentors
  • Lifelong Educators
  • Adult Educators
  • Social Workers

  • Coaches
  • Support Staff
  • Education Assistants
  • Music, Art and Dance Teachers
  • Volunteers
  • Librarians
  • Trainers
  • Psychologists
  • Medical Personnel

    We look forward to recognizing the nominees at the Saskatoon Preschool Foundation Dinner April 16, 2010 at TCU Place. Each nominee will feel honored and recognized.

    Nomination Guidelines

    As the nominator (with two supporting signatures), write a one-two page submission (no attachments) which describes why the nominee is a Champion of Children: You may wish to use the following as guidelines:

    • Ways this individual has made a difference in the learning and/or wellbeing of children
    • Examples of this individual's outstanding qualities
    • Accomplishments of this individual
    • Impact this individual has had on you or the life of a child

    In addition, please include:

    • 3 - 4 sentences that summarize why the nominee is a Champion of Children (for the printed program)
    • a photo of the nominee (for a visual presentation at the dinner)

    Tickets

    Each Nominee is sent a letter giving details of the evening and one (1) complimentary dinner ticket per nomination. The nominator(s), and the Nominee's family members and friends are encouraged to attend and honor the nominees. Tickets ($75, portion tax receipted) are available from the Foundation Office. Reserved seating is available.
